Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA)

IFANCA, an internationally recognized halal certifying organization, is staffed by a qualified scholars, technical staff and administrators. Muslims In Dietetic and Nutrition (MIDAN)

MIDAN is a member interest group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the national organization of registered dietitians. Many members of the MIDAN group are Muslim - and that means they identify with the struggles of eating Halal in a region of the world where Halal is "new". Being Muslim and trained in nutrition and food service, members of MIDAN are uniquely qualified to assist food service operations in planning and executing a Halal-friendly meal service from menus and food selection to staff training.
